Del Mar was established
By Jon Maring and Lee Del Don. Both men started the Del Mar brand by growing and selling bell peppers.

The end of the First Crop
Both men made the tuff decision to stop planting bell peppers and grow the business with another type of produce.

1983 – 1996
Del Mar Produce Expansion
Del Mar expanded its brand by growing almonds, broccoli, cauliflower, apricots, beans and cherries.

Del Mar Produce Expansion
Del Mar expanded its brand by growing apricots, squash and tomatoes.

Acre Growth and Produce expansion
Del Mar expanded its almond acre and expanded its produce by growing corn, cotton.

Facility Expansion
Solar energy panels were built in every cooling facility and a new warehouse was built.
